Contestants from across Canada and the United States were eligible to enter via online or mail in entry form. Names were randomly selected; over one hundred and eleven thousand people vied for a chance to win. Two of the three winners are located in rural Ontario, Olive Gibson and Chris Brown won $500 and $1000 respectively. I cannot believe this has happened, Gibson said during a phone conversation with Clearpoint staff to deliver the news, I am completely shocked, Brown added. The grand prizewinner, Freda Jaquard was also selected as an Early-Bird winner, having sent her entry form within three weeks of receiving it in the mail.
